Premier League Matchday 3 Predictions (Scores & Man of the Match)

Image
I think I'm going to turn this into a weekly thing, so comment below if you're up for that. This week's clashes are arguably even bigger than last, with title contenders Liverpool and Chelsea going head to head and Mikel Arteta facing his former mentor in Pep Guardiola as Arsenal travels to City. Brighton will hope to keep up there so-far perfect record as they face 7th-placed Everton and West Ham will try to remain in first as they face off against London rivals Palace. So buckle in as we go through my predictions for the upcoming Premier League matchday. Man City 3-1 Arsenal  City will obviously be expected to win this one up against a struggling Arsenal outfit, but it won't be all bad for Arsenal. I predict that they will capitalize on a defensive error and take the lead early on, and while City scramble in an equalizer before the end of the half, Arsenal fans will have reason to be optimistic. They will be a tad unlucky to let in two more goals, but it isn't lik

Ranking Survivor South Africa: Immunity Island Contestants Least-Most Likely To Win

Image
I did a power rankings on this season of Survivor South Africa, which had mixed results. When it was the final 14, I placed the remaining contestants at 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11 and 14. My top 3, who were Renier, Anesu and Dino all went out as well as well as my number eight pick Amy. I did, however, predict four remaining players, namely Kiran, Santoni, Tyson and Chappies to still be here, so I'm not too unhappy with my predictions, especially as that post predated both the tribe swap and merge (which screwed over Renier and Dino). So today I will be doing something slightly different and ranking the contestants based on who is least to most likely to win.  7: Santoni    She would have been low even if she were to be on the right side of the numbers, and as she is not, she's my pick as the least likely to win. She has the most enemies on the jury, and despite a series of good moves and often impressive strategic play, she has always been a bit brash and has never shown an aptitude in

Premier League Matchday 2 Predictions (Scores & Man of the Match)

Image
Matchday 1 was a pretty exciting opening weekend, with City, Arsenal and Aston Villa all unexpectedly beaten and United, Liverpool and Chelsea showing why they are title contenders with decisive wins over Leeds, Norwich and Palace, not to mention the invigorating clash between Newcastle and West Ham. Matchday 2 is also looking exciting, with Liverpool, City and United expected to annihilate Burnley, Norwich and Southampton while fixtures such as Palace vs Brentford, Leeds vs Everton and West Ham vs Leicester are all expected to be well-fought, heated affairs. That's not to mention an exciting London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea, Nuno Espirito-Santo's return to Wolves and an match to remain top-half between 8th place Brighton and 7th place Watford.  Liverpool 2-0 Burnley  Liverpool were comfortable winners in their match against Norwich, while Burnley failed to defend an early lead and went down 2-1 to Brighton. I don't predict any major upsets here, and while Burnley w

Top 5 Epic Rap Battles of History (& their best lines)

I have previously sung the praises of ERB, but I have not yet done a dedicated post on them so here goes. And to make sure this is completely accurate, I will be listening to ERBs while I write. "I kill you with Olive Garden Garlic Breadsticks" and "I have a dream that one day you'll take a shower" will be playing as I write about their hilarious raps.  5: Ragnar Lodbrok vs Richard the Lionheart   In their most recent battle, Viking legend Ragnar Lodbrok takes on former King of England Richard I. Despite a not-so- brilliant start, it gets progressively better and better. Neither holds back, but the disses are also very direct and, unlike in one or two ERBs, they are not just generic disses that could apply to anyone.  I like that, because people like me who didn't know too much about either of the figures learn who they actually were, and this battle has led me to do some research on both figures. The best line, in my opinion, is "You're a wannabe,

2021-22 Premier League Table Predictions

Image
With the Premier League about to return, I thought I'd make a post about my table predictions. Last year was abysmal, as I only got Leicester, Brighton, Burnley and Fulham's positions correct. Maybe this season I can do a bit better, so here follows my soon-to-be-proved-wrong English Premier League table predictions. Please remember to leave your predictions down in the comments below and I hope you enjoy. 1: Liverpool  What did you guys expect? I'm a Liverpool fan! My top four is also largely influenced by my head-on-head comparison that I did about a week ago, in which Liverpool steamrolled the opposition. While City, United, Leicester and Chelsea could all win, I am putting trust in my club. The potential arrival of Romelu Lukaku could really change this and boost Chelsea to win, but I will stick with my gut for now. Having the league's best manager will also be a factor in Liverpool's favor. I do, however, think that up to fifteen points will separate the top fo
