Premier League Best Eleven

Image
We have a huge cause for celebration... MAN CITY ARE STILL CHAMPIONS LEAGUE BOTTLERS. WOOHOO! It would have been quite sad if they won and us Liverpool, United, Arsenal and Chelsea fans didn't have anything to laugh about (the less said about Spurs being Spursy, the better). Anyway, my list for today is not the team of the season, but the best team you could possibly make with the competitors of this years Barclay's Premier League. I will be utilizing a 4-1-3-2 formation. So without further ado, let's get into the list. Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker The first of five LFC players, it is no secret that I think Alisson is the best keeper in the Premier League, with Ederson in second. The Brazilian shot-stopper is the ideal modern-day goalkeeper. He is second only to Jan Oblak when it comes to the traditional keeping and reflexes, and is in the top three along with Ederson and Manuel Neuer at the more modern areas of goalkeeping: with the ball at his feet. Ederson is probably slig

Euro 2020 Group Stage Predictions

Image
The Euros are almost upon us! I, for one, am really excited to see the star-power that will be on display, and it will also be interesting to see how teams look ahead of the World Cup next year. Looking at the teams, I honestly think only North Macedonia and Finland have no chance of winning (sorry North Macedonia and Finland). While my Premier League predictions were terrible, the rest of my predictions were actually quite good, so let's have a go at predicting the Euro 2020 group stage results. Group A:  Turkey  Italy  Switzerland Wales It is no secret that Italy have suffered a gradual decline over the last decade-or-so, while Turkey are on the rise with a young and talented squad. I think they will just edge out Italy, who will come in second. Switzerland do not have too much star-power, with Yan Sommer as their best player, but unlike Wales, they have depth, and a large proportion of their players are starters in the Bundesliga. When it comes to Wales they are completely relia

To Be In Gen Z: Notes On Gen Z From The Inside Out 1ST CHAPTER RELEASE

Image
CHAPTER 1: YOUTUBE YouTube Logo In today’s society there are many different views on YouTube. Most of Gen Z unanimously agree that it is quite cool, enjoyable, and despite the fact that it is, admittedly, flawed (like everything else in this universe), I think it is overall a good platform when controlled and understood. Millennials are rather divided on the topic, many finding it useful and enjoyable in moderation, while others think it is overused and wasteful, and Gen X considering it any of those options or just an additional method to get things done, neither necessary nor impractical and then again, some are completely clueless, while Traditionalists are almost exclusively pretty clueless, with few understanding the internet (again, I have spoken to people from these generations). In this book/guide, I will always attempt to speak from a neutral standpoint, so I will therefore discuss both pros and cons, but I will, as the title suggests, be focusing almost exclusively on the p

Every Club's Best Player Who Will Leave This Summer

Image
Hello everyone, and welcome to my first post to come after the conclusion of the season. While I was slightly satisfied with a third-place finish after a pretty abysmal season for Liverpool, no person who isn't a City fan (so pretty much everyone, it's not called the Emptihad for nothing) is royally ticked off about City winning their third title in four years. And they're in a Champions League Final, which only took about ten years and over A BILLION DOLLARS . Yes, you heard that right, a billion dollars. And that's only in transfers, so wages, lawyers and bribes don't count. Anyhow, let's delve into this list before I start a fifty-paragraph essay on why I hate them and, while I can at least respect the likes of Manchester United and Everton, I cannot find any reason to respect City. This list will only consist of players who are currently permanently contracted to the club, and will be departing permanently. Manchester City: AngeliƱo  For Manchester City it w

I wrote a book.

Hello dear readers. Today I come forth with some information I have been sitting on for a long time. Over the last maybe 8 months I have been working on a book that I feel is finally ready for the public eye. I have worked really hard on it and am trying to make it as accessible as possible to all of you. I have applied to put my book up on many sites, and am pleased to announce that it will likely become available on sites such as Payhip, and potentially some other sites as well, although I must stress to all of you out there how incredibly difficult it is to get your book out there, and I am having quite a few issues with things such as ISBN codes and signing up for PayPal.  Keeping My Anonymity I really don't want who I am to become known because I like to be able to live life without doubts on whether people actually like me for who I am. Because of this PLEASE RESPECT MY CHOICE AND DO NOT EXPOSE WHO YOU ARE (IF YOU HAVE LINKS TO ME) OR, MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHO I AM.   Please fee

Every Premier League Number 1: Ranked

Image
Coming at you with another post, today I think it's time to rank Premier League Number 1s (the starting goalkeeper, not the actual person with the shirt number). I have previously played as a keeper and I am one of those people who thinks that having a top-class goalkeeper is more important than having a brilliant outfield player. If you guys like this it could potentially turn into my very first series, where I could look at center-backs, full backs and wingbacks, defensive midfielders, attacking midfielders, wingers and strikers, but that is up to you guys. Anyway, without further ado, let's head into the list. 20: Alex McCarthy There are no bad goalkeepers in this list, but Alex McCarthy is in my opinion the most mediocre of the mediocre ones. He does not have the excuse of being young or old, 31 being pretty much the average goalkeeper's prime, and while he is not prone to accidents he is still fairly limited. He has survived the 9-0 with his place intact, unlike his pr
