Harry Potter: Top Five Magical Creatures (excluding all pre/sequels)

Image
Welcome back to another epic list. Hope you enjoy and leave any queries or post requests in the comments below. So put on your glasses, comb your hair and let's get right into another epic list.  5: Thestrals These misunderstood skeletal horses are only visible to those who have witnessed death. They are majestic fliers and send out a subtle message about not reading a book by its cover. Thestrals  are carnivorous, black figures with huge fangs. Not much is known about them, which shrouds them in the mists of mystery. Even Newt and Hagrid can't answer all our many questions about these magical beasts! They may have caused many controversies among fans, but we will hope to meet them again in future pre/sequels. 4: Veelas We didn't get too much information on these easy-to-anger humanoids with a pretty face, but Fleur Delacour, along with the Veelas who appeared at the Quidditch World Cup, gave us enough info to see that these creatures were not just a pretty face. They were

Five Harry Potter Characters Who Are REALLY Similar To a Real Life Person

Image
JK Rowling's masterpieces, the Harry Potter series, are both hugely influential and heavily influenced. Many characters are inspired by myths or real people. And in other cases the brilliant characters inspired others. Or maybe it's just a complete coincidence. Who knows! Let's check out my top five characters who REALLY ARE just like someone in the real world. 1: Fenrir Greyback; Vlad the Impaler I know what you're thinking. 'Oh Noah, don't you know the difference between a werewolf  and a vampire .' Yes, I know Vlad inspired Count Dracula, while Fenrir is a werewolf, but despite the difference with the two creatures, and the fact that Vlad's vampire tales are likely highly fictionalized, the two blood-sucking humanoids shared many traits. The two vile leaders commanded huge armies, acted mainly at night and, of course, had a taste for blood. They killed for fun, and both phsycos used some of the most treacherous methods to lead their armies to victory.

A Revised History of Ekrizdis, the Evilest Wizard Ever

Image
JK Rowling has written a few brief pieces about the evil Ekrizdis, but has barely scraped the surface of this loathsome character, and has left a lot shrouded by the mists of mystery. An intriguing character, Ekrizdis is the physical form of madness and evil, and today I will attempt to erase a few of the question marks surrounding this creepy character. Firstly, let's go over the little information we have  been given.  He was a Dark inventor who was born somewhere during the fifteenth century. He was traveling the North Sea for an unknown reason when he came across a tiny island, which was basically just a big rock jutting out of the sea. There was no life there, and he decided to become the island's first inhabitant.  After casting sufficient protection charms, he created a huge fortress, which eventually became Azkaban, and resumed his experiments on Muggle sailors who unintentionally passed through his territory. He created many Dark things, most notably Dementors, before

Top 5 Plausible Harry Potter Theories You've NEVER Heard Before

Image
How can I be sure that these theories are completely unheard of ? Probably because all of these theories are completely original and created by me! Take a look at this blend of theories, from gut-wrenching to satisfying to mildly confusing and have your mind blown away... 1: Salazar's Plan Salazar Slytherin was a detestable wizard who despised Muggle-Born witches and wizards. He left behind the Chamber of Secrets, but what if he left something else to help his descendants rid the school of all who were not Pure-Bloods. The theory goes that when he and the other founders were bewitching the Sorting Hat, he added a little something to stop the hat from proclaiming evil youngsters such as Tom Riddle as evil. As he could see all inside the heads of those he sorted, he must have been able to single out troublemakers for who they really were and demand that they could not gain power through education. He should also have been able to identify many other problematic things contained in yo

Harry Potter: Top Five Most Evil Witches and Wizards of All Time

Image
There are so many loathsome characters from the Harry Potter series, it will be hard to pick out which five were the worst. When I started this list, I came up with six loathsome ones, but as it was extremely hard to distinguish one from another, I decided that I would only include characters whose birthdates precede Harry's, hence the absence of Delphi Riddle (is that her real surname?).  With this in mind, I will of course explain my criteria. This list does not reflect success, but rather how cruel and heartless you are or were. This is the main reason that, SPOILER ALERT, I left slightly more humane characters, such as Grindelwald out of the list. 5: Bellatrix Lestrange Bellatrix is a true villainess, despite only being a follower, rather than first in command. She enjoyed torturing and killing over all else, and the only sign that she even had some sort of shriveled, twisted, corrupted heart was her affection for Voldemort, the main antagonist of Harry Potter. She tortured man

Top Five Witches and Wizards from Harry Potter

TOP FIVE (OR SIX) MOST POWERFUL WITCHES AND WIZARDS WHO WERE ALIVE DURING THE EVENTS OF THE HARRY POTTER SERIES (1980-1998) The Harry Potter series is widely credited for being one of the greatest literature masterpieces of all time, with many complicated and diverse characters. One question many people ask is: who is the most powerful wizard from all the seven books? Many people credit this honor to Albus Dumbledore or Tom Riddle (Voldemort), but who was really the most powerful? One of them or someone entirely different? To give you an idea of on how I actually chose this list, I took two main factors into account: Magic, and also cunning and knowledge, to put an interesting spin and also mark out if the wizards could actually use their skills correctly, meaning that they could get more than those ranked behind them from a similar situation.  The character does not have to live past a day after Harry's birth to be included. They must be mentioned, but do not have to appear at any
