Defining and Naming EVERY Survivor Era

Image
Survivor is arguably the most successful Reality TV show ever. The show has filmed 42 seasons in just 11 years (including 41 & 42) and has gained worldwide popularity, inspiring versions from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, France, etc. The US version is still by far the most successful though, and today we will be defining and naming all the Eras. I have seen this done by Peridiam before, but I do not actually agree with a lot of his decisions. Classic Era (1-8)  Starting with Survivor: Borneo and ending with Survivor: All Stars, the Classic Era of Survivor took the world by storm and bringing back some of the best players ever was an amazing way to round off the show. While they were admittedly inferior strategically to more recent seasons they are somehow magical and even to those such as myself who are younger than the show still feel that sense of something new and exciting when watching these seasons. To this day the likes of Richard Hatch, Rupert Boneham and Boston

Best Premier League XI & Bench With Only 1 Player Per Club

Image
When drafting it in class (what better is there to do) I thought this was an original idea, but I think I must have vaguely remembered a similar idea from HITC Sevens, who has done this before in this video . But regardless, I think it would be an interesting idea to look back on, especially as I created a very different team. It is not necessarily the best player at each club, just the one who will be most helpful to the team. I have chosen to utilize a 4-3-3 formation. So without further ado, here is my Premier League XI & 9 man bench with only ONE player per club.  Goalkeeper: Nick Pope   Pope is a pretty obvious inclusion. Along with the two keepers on the bench, he is one of the only two keepers in the league who is also the best player at their club. With ball-playing center-halves, he will not need to distribute the ball too much, his biggest weakness. Generally one of the biggest locks on the board, I'm sure we all agree. Left-Back: Kieran Tierney  Arsenal's inclusi

My Champions League Group Stage Predictions

Image
The Champions League groups have been announced! These are the most uneven groups I can remember, with group B's teams arguably all better than any of the ones in group G just proving this. While City face Leipzig and PSG face Club Brugge other groups will feature a group of Ukrainian zookeepers called Shakhtar Donetsk going up against something called Sheriff that comes from a country that doesn't even exist  (sorry if you support either of those clubs, but they really don't have enough pedigree to feature in a league containing Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Manchester United). Today I will be predicting the final outcomes in each of the eight groups. Group A  Paris Saint Germain  Manchester City  Red Bull Leipzig  Club Brugge  I could see Club Brugge making it through other groups, but in this one they won't win a single game. PSG are the most frightening team in the world and City are the champions of the world's best domestic league. Leipzig stand a slim chance o
